As midterm elections approached, I was asked to create an ad appearing on BYU–Idaho’s home page encouraging voter registration. The great work created for governments by artists such as Lester Beall and Abram Games came to mind. I wanted to create something using that same sense of ambiguity and wit as those great designers of the past, applied with a very minimal aesthetic.
